Im not a fan of the dentist and have trouble with anxiety. When I heard i needed a root canal I immediately felt myself getting anxious. The nurse recognizes it right away and really took his time to tell me exactly what to expect and what they were going to do to help me stay calm. What a relief! Real nice people at Admire.
Before Anesthesia
Admire Dental is committed to patient comfort. For patients requiring anesthesia steps must be taken beforehand to ensure a positive outcome.
You must refrain from eating or drinking anything for 8 hours prior to your procedure. If you smoke, do not do so for twelve hours before anesthesia. As each person is affected differently, we require that all patients requiring anesthesia be accompanied by a legal adult. Also, please do not wear any jewelry, dentures, or contact lenses the day of your procedure. If you take medications regularly be certain to discuss these with your doctor, and make changes to your medication as directed.
